About GrandPrixSim

A small independent site making free Formula 1 simulation games that run in a browser tab. No account, no download, no launcher.

What this is

Four free racing games built around one Formula 1 race model. You can simulate a single Grand Prix and call the strategy from the pit wall, run a whole 24-round championship, take one driver from karting to Formula 1 across a career, or ask the predictor to race a circuit thousands of times and report the odds.

Everything runs in your browser. There is no account to make, nothing to install, and your progress is saved locally on your own device.

Where the ratings come from

They are ours. There is no official dataset of Formula 1 driver and car ratings, so every number on this site is an estimate, built and tuned so that the racing behaves the way Formula 1 behaves — the right spread in qualifying, the right number of retirements, the right difference between Monaco and Monza. They are a model, not a record. Reasonable people will disagree with some of them, and that is part of the fun.

If you want the detail, how the simulator works lays out the whole model, including the parts we deliberately do not model.

What we will not do

Not affiliated with Formula 1

GrandPrixSim is independent and fan-made. It is not affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by Formula 1, Formula One World Championship Limited, the FIA, or any team. Driver and team names are used for identification and commentary only. We do not use official logos, wordmarks or liveries.
